Hi there!
If you email me, I can give you pointers on sizing up the hat itself for bigger sizes, but as of now, I do not have any instructions that I’ve tested for sizing up the earflaps and headphones. If you are willing to experiment, I can give you some pointers. Email me at cassie@littleredwindow.com

The vast majority of my patterns fit roughly:
0-3 months: 13″ – 14″
6 months: 12″ – 17″
12 months: 16″ – 19″
2T+: 18″ – 20″

If a pattern differs due to the stitch or yarn used, I will make note (for example: “this hat runs small compared to my others, when in doubt, size up”)

A question about the sizing – what head circumferences do you use for your sizes? I didn’t see any measurements in the free 12-month size (although I might have missed it). Thanks Linda

nope, it’s not a mistake. After you add in the earflaps you join to knit the rest of the hat in the round, so you will in fact be knitting all stitches from them on to get stockinette. Make sense? 🙂 Happy knitting!
