Would you please remove The Preemie Project as an organization that accepts hats. As of Feb 15, 2021 we will no longer accept hand-made items. We will be focusing solely on purchased items for going home supplies for families. Thanks for sending knitters our way in the past. It has been great! Time to slow down and enjoy retirement

Hello…..I am a member of a group in Towson, MD. that meets every Friday at a small maul. We knit or crochet hats for newborn babies. Please look us up on Facebook. We are called the Tiny Toppers of Maryland.com. You will see pictures of our members knitting and special events…like the time we had an Oriole Appreciation Day…where we all wore orange and black and brought with us, that day, all the orange and black hats that would be taken to the 5 hospitals that we are involved with. You can email me and I will fill you in. The only drawback is that you are in Florida, we are in MD. so you would have to mail them to me. The nurses tell us how much our donated hats mean to the families of the newborns, and how fast our hats are used up, and they have to resort to the “hospital” hats.
