In reply to Linda. Your mother is right. We played with Popsicle sticks and a checker. The box was painted dark green. Players alternated shots We played at supervised playgrounds during the summer in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin

I played this all summer at Washington school playground in Wauwatosa WI. Actually found plans online listed as Lincoln elementary in Wauwatosa and built according to plan. Forgot rules and was happy to find your rules. Remembered playing with bottle cap.

That's why I wrote this post actually, because when I tried googling this game there was basically NO info on the entire internet about it! Maybe you can get a friend or family member to build one, it's a pretty easy project. Best, Cassie

We played this as children and loved it!!!!! Only difference our holes were a little shorter.

I would love a game for my grandsons. Do you know where I could purchase one already made?

I also remember playing. We had half circle mouse holes and the boards with 2 gate holes were away more from the side walks. I think that allowed more angle shots to past more holes. Thanks! Enjoyed memory lane.

My brothers and I use to play this , but we used a ball and two sticks, we would hit the side of the box and then hit the sticks , one two and three and hit the ball that sat on the middle bar, then off you go , bare knuckles and all, wow this brings back so many memories . I have tried to describe it to my kids , but they never got the hang of what I. Was trying to describe, thank you
